Most companies may not even consider changing to LED or energy-efficient lighting thinking these light bulbs will not give off enough light to do the job. The problem is this is just not true. Modern technology has improved newer light bulbs to the point they will produce as much light as their counterparts with much less energy usage. If the businesses you visit do seem to be using more power for their lighting than is needed, it would be smart to suggest they seek commercial lighting specialists to help lower their energy consumption.
